Covid Cooking ~Day 3 of Social Isolation

Dalgona Coffee or whipped coffee has been making the rounds on Instagram these days as a result of social isolation in South Korea. People started whipping up this iced coffee treat and apparently it tastes like a South Korean candy called Dalgona.

Now I’ve never tried dalgona candy, but man,this coffee is top notch!  The typical ratio of instant coffee to water to sugar is 1:1:1, so you can make as much or as little as you’d like., depending on your needs/addiction 😉

Recipe

2 tbsp instant coffee

2 tbsp hot water

2 tbsp sugar

Either whisk together in a bowl (or cheat and use your mixer with the whisk attachment).

Meanwhile, Add ice cubes to a glass, add milk of your choice with enough space at the top to put the whipped topping

Whip the coffee mixture until it is light and frothy and full combined

Spoon on top of the milk and mix together.
