Covid Cooking :: Pina Colada Smoothies

Morning smoothies and pretending I’m someplace tropical. Check

Possibility of adding rum and having these in the afternoon. Double Check.

I won’t lie to you. The reason I made these in the first place is because I bought pineapples that were in the discount bin and had bananas that were going slightly off. Plus I overbought some coconut milk,so why the hell not?

Besides, it’s spring/summer and we can’t go on a vacation, so let’s pretend? Are you down? I am… let’s go!

Toss some summer jams on your Spotify and give ‘er.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1/2 can coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup milk of your choice
  • *sugar if needed*

Directions

  1. Toss everything in a blender
  2. Add ice… or don’t.. or freeze all the fruit and blend them while frozen
  3. Drink and think of someplace tropical, with palmtrees and ocean waves and a hot man bringing you a drink while you lounge… just me? Ok then… enjoy regardless!
